Farah Baker, a Palestinian girl, became internationally renowned when she live tweeted about the Israeli attacks on the Gaza Strip in July 2014.
Farah turned 16-years-old in August 2014 and has survived through three wars. She describes herself as the Anne Frank of today. Her tweets have become a social network phenomenon and Baker's following on Twitter has jumped from 800 to 166,000 within a few days.
Foreign Policy has nominated Baker as one of the Leading Global Thinkers of 2014.
