Mohammad Abu Baid is a 27-year-old professional football player who used to play for “Al Daraj” football team in the Gaza Strip. During the Israeli shelling on al Shujaey’a neighborhood in Gaza city in 2014, Mohammad’s house was hit by a rocket. He got severely injured and the doctors had to amputate his leg.
Mohammad did not loose hope and decided to continue playing football with the other players of his team and at the same time to training kids. The war may have taken his leg and financial resources but his spirit and love for football remained strong.
