The Jordanian Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities, in cooperation with the Jordan Tourism Board and Jordanian tourism associations, has launched the integrated digital platform (Welcome to Jordan). The platform targets Arab markets, particularly neighboring countries—Palestine, Iraq, Syria, Lebanon, and Egypt—as well as Kuwait and the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries. It aims to boost inbound tourism to Jordan and provide easier access to tourism programs and services.
The (Welcome to Jordan) platform offers a wide range of tourism packages tailored to the interests and needs of Arab travelers. It encourages visitors to explore Jordan's archaeological, natural, and tourist attractions across the Kingdom through comprehensive offers designed to deliver a unique travel experience.
Jordan Tourism Board Managing Director Ramzi Al-Maaytah stated that the launch of the platform is part of the Board's ongoing efforts to strengthen Jordan's position as a leading tourism destination in Arab markets and to invite visitors from across the Arab world to spend their summer holidays in Jordan. He highlighted the Kingdom's rich tourism, natural, and cultural assets, noting that this summer Jordan is hosting a variety of artistic and cultural events, including the Jerash Festival, Amman Summer Festival, Aqaba Waves Festival, as well as concerts by prominent Arab artists in Amman, Jerash, Aqaba, and Petra.
